FAQs + COVID INFO

WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC?

ARE YOU PLANNING ON GETTING THE COVID 19 VACCINE?

I follow both CDC and Ohio State Guidelines for healthy business operations. As of the end of April 2021, I am fully vaccinated but will still observe social distancing guidelines and wear a mask for indoor photography.

Yes! As of the end of April 2021, I am fully vaccinated.

HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE SICK OR HAVE AN EMERGENCY?

If I am sick or have a family emergency on your wedding day, a backup photographer with comparable skills will photograph your event at no additional cost to you. I will then edit the photos so that they are consistent with my style.

To book your wedding with me, I will send you a contract and invoice. I require a non-refundable deposit of half the total fee to hold the date. The remaining half of the balance is due no later than one month (30 days) before the event.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SURPRISE ENGAGEMENTS?

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Yes, I often travel for weddings and love capturing you and your partner in meaningful locations. Travel fees are extra to cover costs and depend on location.

I have photographed many surprise engagements. I have a lot of experience and tips to make the surprise go smoothly and be an authentic experience for your and your love.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE IMAGES?

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND BACKUP EQUIPMENT?

You will receive a preview image emailed to you within 24 hours of the session or event. A usb flash drive of high resolution images and copyright release will be mailed to your home address within one month of your session or wedding.

Yes, I carry general liability insurance and bring a backup camera, photo cards and batteries to sessions, events and weddings.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A LOCATION ?

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography and have photographed 150+ weddings and elopements. Additionally, I have held multiple professional positions including photojournalist, photo editor, graphic designer, fine art photographer and photography instructor with a college as well as several non-profit organizations.

Sure! I have photographed weddings all over the Hocking Hills, Ohio and the US. I can recommend a location and the best time to catch the most beautiful light. Planning help is included in my packages.

DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER?

DO YOU LIKE DOGS?

Yes, indeed! I love when you include your furry friends in sessions and wedding plans. Some spots aren't dog-friendly, however, so let me know if you plan on bringing your pooch and I can let you know the best locations.

Ninety nine percent of the time, I shoot solo. I am a trained photojournalist and worked for several years photographing spot news and sports. A few noteworthy jobs included photographing three former Presidents of the US and being on the field for the OSU Buckeyes championship season. I find that my background allows me to work solo to capture every moment without the added cost of a second photographer. I do have a second shooter on reserve, however, and am able to add that to a package if that is really important to your wedding day.

KIND WORDS

"I really cannot overstate how much we love Elizabeth and her work. We are two of the least camera-confident people imaginable, and yet somehow she made the whole process easy and fun. I am fairly confident she is actually magic. We feel so, so, so lucky to have these beautiful pictures that absolutely radiate the joy we felt that day!"
