Spring Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel Micro Wedding

Sitting on a wooded hilltop, Valley View’s Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel charms guests with its Stone Fireplace, Log Chapel, Gazebo, and cozy on-site cabins. Their garden features a pond, covered trellis, and plenty of flowering trees and plants. The venue made the perfect location for Teresa and Jake’s Spring Micro Wedding.

The day started with Teresa’s Getting Ready photos in the PA Barn, located right next to the Chapel. Christina Perez provided hair services and Katilyn Boyer provided makeup services. Teresa made her own bouquet and crown. She included dog tags on the bouquet to remember their beloved, Sookie. The couple’s rings came from Dublin Village Jewelers.

Once Teresa was helped into her dress by her mother, I popped over to the Sunrise Retreat to meet up with Jake. The view was stunning on the deck and it was a wonderful place to catch up with Jake. We had met 6 months prior during the couple’s Upper Falls Engagement Photos and we found we both came from a background in art.

After Jake was ready, we headed to the backside of the Chapel for First Touch photos. Teresa and Jake opted not to have a First Look before the ceremony but still wanted to connect before seeing each other at the altar. After a quick hand hold around the corner of the building and a few laughs to the let the jitters out, Jake headed to the Stone Fireplace for the ceremony. Meanwhile, Teresa had a First Look with her father.

During the processional, Teresa’s father walked her through the garden to a piano cover of Sweet Child of Mine by Ramin Djawadi. The couple included sweet details in the ceremony like a Unity Rituals with candles provided by The Flowerpatch Weddings.

At the reception, the couple enjoyed catering and a cake provided by Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel. The cake topper was by Thistle and Lace Designs. The Cheesecake Girl and Crumbl Cookies provided additional dessert. Following the cake cutting, the couple danced their first dance to I Am Wolf, You Are The Moon by Craig Wedren.

For Couples Photos, Teresa, Jake, the folks of BlueSky Video HD and I explored the garden and nearby walking path. Teresa chose a vintage, off-the-shoulder, mermaid dress from David’s Bridal. The dress paired beautifully with Jake’s Calvin Klein suit.

Please enjoy some of my favorite photos from their April wedding!
