Bell Manor is nestled on a 40-acre estate in the heart of the rolling hills of southern Ohio. With stunning architectural design, hilltop panoramic views, and charm galore, it made the perfect location for Katy and Devon's July wedding.

Katy and Devon went to high school together but "but we didn't exchange two words," Katy said. "He graduated two years ahead of me and we didn't run around in the same crowd."

Skipping ahead 13 years, the two serendipitously ran into each other at a local bar. Devon said he recognized Katy and remembered her as "the pretty girl with a big smile" that he sometimes saw in the hallway at school. The two struck up a conversation and began dating shortly thereafter!

Inspired by their love of the outdoors and nature, Devon proposed in a beautiful and meaningful way. "We planned a long weekend trip to Virginia to hike part of the Appalachian Trail. We were hiking up to a famous viewpoint called McAfee Knob, and when we got to the top he dropped to one knee and asked me," Katy said.

When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple knew Bell Manor "felt like the right place" when they toured the venue. Lauren Arthurs served as coordinator for the site and kept things running smoothly throughout the day. The gorgeous floral arrangements were provided by Charley's Flowers. Elegant Eats kept everyone fed and happy. Delish*Us Cakes and Catering made the cupcakes and Birdies Cupcakes created a yummy and beautiful wedding cake. Matt the Cat DJ played a mix of classic wedding songs and some modern bluegrass. Katy and Devon chose Tyler Childer's All Your'n as their first dance song.

The couple's other vendors included David's Bridal for Katy and the bridesmaid's dresses, Jos A Banks for the men's suits, Dunkin's Diamonds for the rings, Rory Bay acted as the officiant, Jennifer Eshelman did hair and Bailey Thorpe provided makeup.

In addition to all the wonderful elements provided by the vendors, there were a few unexpected and, ahem, memorable moments from the day. This wedding had faux knife fights, a pants-drop during Bridal Portraits, a flashmob dance, a stunning sunset, lots of love and joy, AND goats!

It's also important to note that Devon and Katy chose special ways to include their children throughout the day. The sweetest moment of their wedding came during the ceremony when their boys were asked to take part in the vows.

Please enjoy some of my favorite moments from Katy and Devon's summer Bell Manor Chillicothe Wedding!
