Get to know your photographer.
Born and raised in Logan, Ohio, I've always connected to the beauty of the natural world. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, I returned back to the area and began hiking and photographing at Hocking Hills State Park.
When not capturing images, I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband, two adorable boys, three cute cats, and our very large Pyrador.
Before venturing into small business ownership, I developed my skills as an award-winning photojournalist. My work has been recognized by the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists, earning me accolades such as Best Feature Photo, Best Illustration, and the Mark of Excellence Award.
I've also had the privilege of sharing my passion for photography by teaching at community colleges and non-profit organizations. My dedication to empowering at-risk youth led me to be honored with a Community Mental Health Advocate award.
Committed to making art accessible to everyone, I serve on the board of trustees for Art Possible Ohio.
