Hi, I'm Elizabeth

I’m a photographer who specializes in weddings, elopements, and portraits in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. I use the sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, and Hemlock groves as a backdrop for documenting real connections and sweet moments. Lately, I've also been inspired by urban exploration and cityscapes. If you are planning a wedding, elopement, vow renewal or are interested in scheduling an engagement or portrait session, please get in touch! I’d love to chat with you about your plans.

  • I was born in the Hocking Hills. I came back to the area after college when my roommate suggested that I wanted to quit my museum job in the city, move to the forest, and be a park ranger.
  • I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Ohio State University and am working towards a Master in Art and Visual Media (expected graduation 2025).
  • I reside in Logan, Ohio, with my husband Ryan, two adorable boys (Huxley and Elan), three sweet kitties (Oscar, Willow, and Goldie), and a newly adopted older Pyrador (Jake). Ryan and I met as kids, didn't see each other for 15 years, and then reconnected over social media.
  • I am an award-winning photojournalist, winning Best Feature Photo and Best Illustration categories with the Associated Press and the Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists in the Best Online Sports Reporting category.
  • I have taught photography at community colleges and non-profits. I won a community Mental Health Advocate award for my work with at-risk youth.
  • I am an avid reader and love lo-fi music, exploring nature, new food experiences, and sci-fi/fantasy films. I've lost count at how many times I have watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
  • I'm on the board of trustees for Art Possible Ohio because art should be accessible to everyone.
  • I am a Green Wedding Shoes Preferred Artist.
  • My family loves Halloween, and we always dress up with a common theme.

“Elizabeth is an amazing photographer and made our day so special. I never thought I’d have so much fun taking pictures.”
