Aloha in the Hills: A Hawaii-Inspired Hocking Hills Wedding

Kamila & Brendan's Hocking Hills Wedding

With only nine days of planning—the second-shortest timeline of my career—Kamila and Brendan’s whirlwind Hocking Hills adventure wedding at Upper Falls was absolute magic. To ensure Kamila’s family back home in Colombia could share in the day, I captured the full ceremony on video while guests livestreamed the vows. Officiated by Brendan’s cousin Erica, their intimate ceremony featured heartfelt individual thank-yous to each guest and a tropical, Hawaii-inspired exchange of vibrant flower leis instead of traditional rings, honoring the stunning Pacific Islands where they got engaged.

From Devil's Bathtub to a Secret Ash Cave Waterfall Proposal

Following a quick detour to the iconic Rivendell Bridge at Devil's Bathtub for some whimsical portraits, we headed to Ash Cave to capture the grand, epic scale Kamila had dreamed of. The towering recess cave also set the stage for a massive surprise: though they had planned to skip rings, Kamila secretly bought Brendan a band and recruited me as her covert ring bearer. Standing under the rushing Ash Cave waterfall, I handed over the hidden ring, and Kamila dropped to one knee to propose to Brendan all over again right in the middle of their wedding day.
