As they drove home from South Carolina in Steven’s trusty old car, they realized they were down to their last literal pennies. 35 Years in the Making
Fast forward three and a half decades. The old car is gone, their family has grown beautifully, and that shoestring budget has been replaced by a lifetime of rich memories. On their anniversary in April, Ava and Steven decided it was finally time to celebrate their incredible journey the way they always deserved: with an intimate, magical vow renewal at the stunning Ravenwood Castle.
A Royal Celebration
The day began with a private first look outside the Silversmith's cottage before Ava and Steven renewed their vows. After celebrating 35 years of love, they shared a romantic first dance and gathered three generations together for family photos. The afternoon concluded with the couple wandering the castle grounds for portraits—looking like absolute royalty, and a far cry from the newlyweds who once dug through car seats for toll money.
